Automatic drain

The floating drain device, also called automatic drain, consists of filter screen, cup, protective housing, floating connecting part, etc. Due to the simple structure, the product can be maintained simply. All the easily wearing parts of the product can be inspected or replaced at any time while running. This product can prevent the condensate water from polluting the compressed air again if the operator forgets to drain the water. The device matched with all the refrigerated air dryer in our company and its minimum order quantity is 1 pieces.

How it works

As the condensate water is accumulated to certain position, the floating ball will be lifted by the buoyancy to realize the drainage. The floating drain device is equipped with an air bottle, equaling to a balloon, which will block the outlet under the pressure if there is no water. When the condensate water in the product reaches the certain water level, the buoyancy exceeds the pressure. The air bottle floats up and the outlet is open so that the water will be drained under the pressure. Then the buoyancy declines and the air bottle drops, blocking the outlet again.
